Our Story
When we first launched Chedid Foundation in 2019, we envisioned tangible, immediate, and lasting social impact in our countries of operation. Far beyond a CSR agenda, ours is a responsibility to reinject our success and growth into the communities that had long stood behind them. In the MENA region that is mired in social, economic, and political volatility, this is no easy feat.
What started as a passion project by Farid Chedid, chairman and CEO at Chedid Capital Holding, is now a fast-growing collective of people and partners working to effect social change, however big or small.
Our contributions have been focally geared toward the environmental, social, and communal wellbeing of our regional markets. But our vision for Chedid Foundation is proving a constant work in progress. There is much to do, but little time to cover the bases of sustainable development – which brings us to our promise today.
Our Promise
We pledge our investments, efforts, and human capital to work that drives social impact at scale, on the ground, and in the present. We vow to teach, learn, give, fund, and take action wherever and however we can in the communities we serve.
Our ambitions stretch far and wide. But much potential is lost in doing too little, too late. We pledge to do what it takes today for a better tomorrow.
